HVAC Installer

Job description
A Sandwell HVAC Install Technician’s primary duty is to either maintain heating and cooling systems or install new units. These systems could be in basements, crawlspaces, attics, or on rooftops. So the ability to lift, climb, crawl, bend, and work on ladders is required. Often working in non-climate controlled areas, an installer will be expected to be able to perform the required tasks in all weather conditions. Must be able capable and comfortable working with power tools, and in a safe manner at all times. Will require ability to work with sheet metal and fiberglass ductwork, copper and iron plumbing systems, high pressure/ flammable refrigerants, propane, oil, and gas, underground piping systems, electrical systems, and web based computer programs. This position may require the ability to work as part of a team or independently on jobs.
